In fingerpicking the Waktz in C, what fingers? My tendency is to play single notes and two notes together with first & second fingers. But in the video it looks like Andrew plays the stacked notes with 2nd & 3rd fingers. What is the guiding rule here? Assign fingers 1-4 to strings 1-4 and play accordingly? Or does it matter?
What you’re doing is totally fine. And it’s probably the method most folks would follow. This song works really well for a 3 finger approach. Copying your style, that means thumb, index, middle. And mine alters it to thumb, middle, ring. Either work 😊
