Hi! I’m Alet from London

Hi! My name is Mel, but most of my friends call me Alet. I discovered the ukulele quite recently. With nothing to do over the Christmas break, I picked up my nephews abandoned ukulele, gathering dust in a corner. Went to YouTube to find some songs and was amazed! This instrument when played past the basic strum strum, can sing! I managed to learn 2 songs over the break and was hooked and inspired that maybe someday I too can do this instrument justice.

So here I am! Hoping Rock Class 101 will get me from beginner to a somewhat skilled level of playing.

Thanks andrew. Im progressing through the beginners course. I might try to join the monthly challenge as well just so that i have a target each month. Lets see how i get on with the this months etude #3!
