    Hi, Kit,

    Congratulations on such wonderful news! Praise God for answered prayer! I hope and pray that you will continue cancer free and have a long, healthy, and happy life.

    I have had breast cancer twice 13 years apart. I am OK now. The last recurrence was in 2015. It was all removed with surgery in 2016. Looking after health issues is often a journey, not an end in itself. We need to be watchful and proactive, but not fearful.

    So happy for you, it’s been a very stressful few months I’m sure – but you got there.

    As for me, I’m sitting in the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford (UK) waiting for a heart bypass!

    These things are sent to try us, but ukulele players are a tough lot!

    Thank you for taking the time to think of me while you are facing something grueling yourself. My brother underwent the same (5 valves) a few years ago and is doing wonderfully. It won’t be fun but you will get through it!

    Yes we are a tough lot…seriously…because we don’t give up easily. What kind of uke is yours? it looks the same as mine. 🙂
