Hi Andrew, I was just working through the lesson “Eastern Uke” which is so much fun. I just have a question at Melody B: I am supposed to mute string 4 all the time until I come to that regular C chord, which works totally good for F and Eb, but not really for Fm and Gm, because my finger does not lay flat on the strings like on the other chords. If I try to touch string 4 like you said for the Fm chord and Gm its not possible to get e clear sound out of the other strings. Do you have any suggestions how I could work on that?

Or what is anyone else’s experience who learned Eastern Uke?

    Thanks a lot!

Aaaww thanks a lot for the video! It perfectly answered my question and sorry for the confusion. It was hard to explain the problem, especially because English is not my first language. Probably I’ll do a video next time 🙂

Actually my problem was only at the Fm chord in melody B, where I find it difficult to touch string 4 and play the other strings with a clear sound. But I saw how you did that in the video so I’ll work on that.
