ParticipantThank you Andrew for the feedback! I did actually use a metronome when I practiced earlier, but I guess I was nervous during recording and unconsciously sped up some parts.
Btw, I really like @rebeca playing of Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah!

ParticipantThanks Andrew for the feedback, in fact I just worked with the Evan play along version and didn’t took the time to follow your advices on the video (shame on me), it’s way better now thank you. The rythme was indeed a little off at some points but it’s getting better.

Here’s my recording Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah, with a special guest appearance around the 35 second mark!
Merry Christmas everyone, and big thanks to the RC101 instructors, and all the participants, who have helped me to improve so much this year.

mozcycParticipantHello everyone!
Matt’s version Deck the Halls is full of Christmas vibe and continuity. Yet my fingers are not strong enough to press the first fret tightly. Maybe I should change to a thinner strings set.
Merry Christmas to you all. 🙂

ukuleleeParticipantHello all,
Thank you for this great learning opportunity. Its quite amazing the awareness that comes from hearing yourself recorded. It really brings home what needs to be worked on.
Happy holidays!

I love your version of ‘Deck the Halls’, I’m still not there with it, but I’m confident that I’ll have this down by next year 😅
It’s so exciting that you are supporting such a great charity. I made a donation and am thrilled to know my entry will donate another $7. Thank you so much for that 🙂

Hi, everyone, here is my submission for the December challenge. I really love the sound of Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah so I decided to upgrade myself to a harder piece. 🙂 The play is …. what it is. But I did spend an enormous effort trying to come up with an impressive festive background for the bonus giveaway. 🙂
What you see in the recording is a Zoom virtual background of the tallest building in Taiwan called Taipei 101 during one of its celebrations. When recording directly in Zoom, the sound quality is not good. So I used my phone to record my computer screen, which had the Zoom open with the virtual background. Anyway, the technology is … what it is. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the background (and maybe the attempted play). Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Happy holidays
