Hi Andrew: I’m working my way through the fingerpicking course. Came across your “Slides” etude and thought I’d give it a try. I only have a high G, used my thumb and played it slower, but still had fun giving it a try. I think the sound you get with the slide technique just sounds cool. I need to work on some hammer-on/pull-off exercises as well, especially when I have other fingers holding down multiple strings. But definitely need to do some research and upgrade my Uke to a low G, solid wood model. Some of the slide notes didn’t sound as loud using my iphone to record. Thanks again for the excellent content and instruction.

Sounds great! I’d only suggest to not push down as hard when sliding. You only need to apply enough pressure to make the note(s) ring clearly. But great work overall, keep it up 🙂
