    Another update: Uke Republic finally got back to me and will make things right. That’s a relief. I wasn’t as worried about not getting the strings I wanted as about not being able to trust one of my favourite sellers anymore, and it looks like both problems have been solved!

    @robynboyd I have found Mike is not so good at responding to emails, but he is really good responding to contact via Uke Republic website contact. I think this is his main business contact forum – he was always quick to respond through here, or as a private message via facebook.
    I am glad you haven’t given up on him… “we love Mike!” at our house 🙂

    I had thought as much, which is why I initially contacted him by email, the website contact page, and Facebook messenger. When I had given up (yesterday), I sent one last message saying how disappointed I was, which eventually got a response. I think this was all a genuine mix-up, and I’m glad it is getting sorted out now.
