Participant@The_Bumble_Bard Haha, I think you actually do a better job at finishing things than you realize! I really enjoyed that “I’ll Be Seeing You” cover you posted on YouTube—tabs and all. By the way, how fluent is Ukubert in Spanish? Or does he only know “hola”?
I was supposed to upload videos weekly to my own channel, but I got derailed in December because of the holidays, and then I injured my foot pretty badly in January. I ended up resting for about two weeks almost no walking. On top of that, I think I will need to buy a proper audio interface to record with because where I live, there are so many motorcycles roaring around that it’s impossible to get a clean take without all the buzzing in the background, definitely frustrating! But I’m excited to get back into it, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next. Keep us posted!

Participant@emiliano, thank you so much for that! If only you knew the depth of my struggle with that, with finishing things. 😂 It takes me sooooooo long to finish things. I’m so glad you saw that, thank you! 😀 I finished that arrangement quite a while ago (I just checked, it was in December!) then didn’t create the tabs for probably a month after that (Matt actually helped me by checking them in a private lesson … earlier this week? But he in general has helped me in lessons with how to write out my own tabs and I also have learned so much just by learning his songs and the songs here, though I still struggle a lot with writing out rhythm). Then, I created a video of it and there were issues with that video, so I took it down, then like two weeks later (tonight) I finally got around to re-filming it, editing it, and all. 😂 I am not “fast” or “organized” with creating things. This makes it all the more mind-blowing how Andrew and Friends create videos every single week, or even month, of the highest caliber (and also not total nonsense like my videos). Every week is a really impressive goal indeed! But the things you create are also really amazing and deserve proper equipment (I’ve accepted my current “sound issues plight” for now, but I may get a new little mic soon). Ha… Ukebert knows a few other Spanish words, but most of them relate to food because he thinks about food 24/7. 😂😂
Sorry for that block paragraph of doom but I think I’m getting tired, so the rambles really set in then. 😂 And thank you so much! I might want to share some of the new songs I am working on here sometimes because I think only a few people here follow my YouTube channel, understandably. 😉

ParticipantProgress Update…January Challenge Completed.
The Music Theory & jamming Course was completed on time. I needed a bit more time for the A7 Blues Solo.
The Course is worth the time invested:
Strum Patterns, Chord Progressions, C Scale Patterns, Solos in Am and C, Chord Theory and Variations, A7 Blues Arpeggios, Solos (EP005,EP006 and EP002) and much more.
Congratulations to all for all of your dedication, hard work and practice. UKE ON!February 16, 2025 at 7:41 am #65628dianna

Keymaster@mysticrick – The backing track is awesome, as is your playing Rick! Congrats on finishing the course too!
The one thing I’d point out is the ending lick you play at 48 to 50 seconds. The last bar of the backing track plays on the 5 chord and that lick works over the 1 chord. So that would be the one change I’d make.
