@Andrew Thank you, Andrew! The “Feng E style” comment totally made my day 😄 Abhay has been loving the rhythm practice, and hearing that feedback from you will make him beam!

Participant@leihali enjoyed the slow smooth sound of your entry and @andrew comment was a lesson for all of us!
@rockclasser welcome to the community. I love the young people that join. Sad to hear you lost your first Ukulele, hopefully someone is playing it but you have a lovely new one and well played!
@maryjanew your last post is SO relatable. I get frustrated in all my recordings but we stick with it. On the July☺️👏👍Well done everyone. Sorry not to comment on more. You Rock

Participant@Andrew Mahalo nui Andrew! It is less than mediocre but I am just grateful for the chance. My anxiety always takes over and I can’t slow down and couldn’t get it together in time to get my Studio One metro to work.
I have to say that the motivation to learn a piece for the challenge has taught me a lot. I learned how to restring my uke, because I switched to the low G for Sea of Storms, and it also motivated me to finally learn how to file down the nut so that I don’t have to kill my fingertips pressing the strings like I haved all these years.
I’m very far from playing well and I get by with the minimal when writing my melodies. I never expected to play well, just wishful thinking. With RockClass101, time, and dedication anyone can learn to be an awesome player. Mahalo for all the great feedback that you give to everyone and for RockClass101.
This was fun!

Participant@rockclasser Wow, nice for one day. Pretty soon your fingers will be gliding accross the fret board. Great job!

Participant@andrew, @abster & @gi_gi_:
Thank you very much for the kind words, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I’m not so happy with the recording; I rushed through the piece (perhaps because the mosquitoes were chasing me?). Many of you give it more time, which, without exception, fits this chilled-out song much more. Also, the video and audio aren’t quite in sync. But enough whining, you asked about the microphones: They’re “Hollyland Lark a1,” available on Amazon.Greetings from hot Berlin

Participant@otzepeng that was nice of you to share. I was looking online today so I’ll check this product out. Really need a microphone for filming on iPad. Loved your lake/pond backdrop, but you were one I thought twice when you were attacked by misquotes! Louisa

Participant@leb397: you’re welcome. It was really a nice place at the boarder of the City. I was very happy to watch many animals there: different frogs, little snakes called “Ringelnatter”, Ducks and “Teichrallen”, different Bugs, Butterflys, Dragonflys and more ….
I was very thankful and felt a bit like as i was a child and we had much more biodiversity as nowadays.
