ParticipantThank you! I’ll probably do Moon Waltz for this challenge then and learn Blue Moon in preparation for when I switch back to high G haha.

ParticipantHi! I have a low g ukulele right now. I was interested in doing Blue Moon or Moon River. Are either songs better suited for low g/ don’t use the g string that much?

Participant@ldarrow Thank you so much! And I’d say go for it! (Even if it’s scary.) Consider posting here like you have a ukulele teacher (Andrew) who has a class recital (this forum), where there’s no choice you just have to do it LOL. Or as a memory to look back on for your future self from when you were a beginner player! Rooting for you!

Participant@lisadmh Personally, when I get pain in my wrists while playing (especially with bar chords), it’s usually because I’m tensing up my hands. Try shaking them out and slowly rolling them out in between playing. Also, when I first practiced Into the Maze, I also had that problem, but as I got used to the song, the tension in my wrists went away, so maybe practicing and getting used to the song is the answer?

ParticipantHi! This is my first Rock Class 101 post! Here’s my attempt at Into the Maze. I feel like I’m playing the harp or the piano with this song.
