    @cimarronsailor – The video is viewable on YouTube, but not embeddable. I think it’s because it might be set to “made for kids”. As long as I can see it, which I can now, we’re good πŸ™‚

    @ccwuke – Playing sounds great, Chris! I think a little more practice will polish it off. One thing I am hearing is in measure 10, the Dadd9 chord, you play that twice in the arr (at the beg/end) and both times I heard it sound a lil out of tune, like you were bending a string slightly. Keep an eye, or an ear πŸ˜‚, out for that.

    @darktoto
    – Both songs sound great! The 2 chord jam was nicely accented throughout. Well done Thomas!

    @shmu88
    – That was amazing Sam! I’m gonna share it in our newsletter tomorrow πŸ™‚

    @laurakarr12
    – Fingerpicking sounds great Laura, beautifully played!

    @capurvis
    – I’d say you aced it! Excellent playing πŸ‘

    @turbopstros
    – Very impressive for one year of playing! You’ve got great tone, feel, and sense of timing. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working πŸ™‚

    @patizon
    – Beautifully played! The only thing I can suggest is to target the spots where you had a little pause or hesitation.

    And I loved the backdrop!

    @karenj
    – I think we can consider this a duet, lol. I loved it!

    @chantmt
    – You’ve got the tone and effects dialed in perfectly for this piece. It really adds to the mood and ambience, and of course, you played it beautifully!

    @uketime
    – That’s it! Well done πŸ™‚

    @mickan88
    – Aced it! Flawless performance and amazing tone πŸ‘

    Side note: I only read what folks write until after I listen as to not color my feedback, but I didn’t notice any of the things you mentioned when I was listening. And I listened via studio headphones, so I can hear EVERYTHING lol.

    @rgillof
    – Excellent performance Rich! Great fingerpicking!

    @uketime

    I’m thinking maybe my beat is off?

    What you’re hearing is that you changed the rhythm of the pattern. You moved the quarter note hit from beat 1 to beat 4. If you reverse it, you’ll be locked in with the rhythm I wrote, although, your alteration works and your fingerpicking sounds great!

    We always notate the harmony (chords) in the printable tab/sheet music for all arrangements. Additionally, for vocal performance tunes, we include a lyric and chord chart. For instrumental tunes, like our arrangement of β€œYou Are My Sunshine,” we don’t include one.

    However, you can easily find them online. Ultimate Guitar is usually a good bet, for example, this one looks great.
