AndrewKeymaster@kanique – Very beautifully played Dorota! Bravo 👏
@mark1256 – You played it wonderfully, Mark! The only thing I’d suggest would be playing along with Steven in the tab player. Try one section at a time. That’ll help smooth out the timing and rhythm.
@ruiafonso70 – Your timing and rhythm was great on this tune! I’m very impressed b/c you’ve made a BIG improvement over the last tune. So def keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working! One tip for the double stops, try strumming through just a touch faster so they don’t sound as arpeggiated. And TY so much for the kind words, we really appreciate it!

AndrewKeymaster@rgillof – Beautifully played Richard! My only suggestion would be to target your practice on those two spots where you paused on the transition. TY so much for the donation! 🙂

This is my first post, and my first challenge. And, I am first-time musician of any type. I am also a stroke survivor, so my fingers do not always do what they are told! I have changed to a Low G, and wanted to play on the Baritone (tuned as an Octave lower standard uke), but I just could not make the stretch. Thanks for bearing with me!

Hi everyone!
I chose Feliz Navidad this month and really enjoyed learning this arrangement. 😊 The chorus section is quite challenging in comparison to the verse. I’m still struggeling a bit to get a loud sound out of the slides (especially measure 11 with the g chord shape).
This time I used a different recording setup again. 😅 I watched the Ableton tutorial from the recording guide and I was surprised how much of a difference the living room reverb and the acoustic compressor make. I was kinda overwhelmed with all the audio effects and which reverb to choose from that big list of in-built reverbs. 😅 I guess now I finally have a setup to work with. 😊 However, I am not completely satisfied with the result, mainly because of the low g string being way to loud and the a string being sooo quiet. I tried an equalizer, but reducing the lows makes it sound a bit flat… Anyways, time is up so I live with that version now. 😅December 19, 2024 at 2:04 pm #64894

Hello and Happy Holidays!
Presenting Felix Navidad. (My apologies for the refrigerator running in the background!)
Many thanks to the Rock Class team for the terrific lessons. I hope to participate more in 2025 than I have this past year.

I have yet to get that tap down…it sounds more like a sleigh crashing, but it’s a work in progress.
Thank you for another great year. I have my Improvement Plan ready for 2025!
Cheers, all!
