    @morrieuke1 – I rarely read folk’s comments until after I watch the performance, and I have to say the first thing I noticed was how much I liked the staccato strums you added. A real nice touch in feel. This whole performance has a nice feel and flow to it. Very well thought out in how you performed it, so I’d def say you aced your goal!

    @nat-uke
    – Very beautifully played Natalie and love the backdrop! The only thing I’d do diff is stylistic. I’d sustain those 2nd (XX75) and 3rd (XX53) double stop hits instead of popping them.

    12th Street Rag. Thanks for helping me get started on this one Andrew. I know it still needs a lot or work. Lots of fun learning it.

    Hello everyone !

    Here is my take at Daybreak. It’s a lovely piece, thank you Andrew!
    As always, I feel like I would need so much more time to polish it, but I am glad of the progress made so far.

    well done. Certainly not an easy piece.

    @nat-uke
    bravo since I also played Blue skies I applaud. Pretty along with background.

    I’m really starting to love the tremolo! So cool you adapted it to song. Once again your creative talent ring out on all fronts. Thanks for comments. We’ve returned to home and already spring is in the air. I feel replenished with sunshine to get me through till spring fully blooms.
    Congrats to all the great entries

    Hi all!

    For the last two months I haven’t found much time to play ukulele… I wasn’t sure if I would be able to participate this month, but today I decided to participate last minute. 😅 I revisited Aura Lee because last time when it was part of a challenge I was on holiday and only had my travel soprano ukulele with me. So this time I played it on my tenor and went with all thumb picking because I like the soft sound 😊.

    Long time since last posting – trying to get back into the habit of uploading – even if I’m not polished.

    Absolutely love this waltz – and making me want to go back to Adrian Holovaty’s Aching Waltz as I’ve played it so many times, but yet failed to upload for a challenge.

    No need to add me into this draw – currently trying to reduce the number of instruments I have!

    Hello 👋,

    Congratulations everyone on all these great performances. It’s cool to see the different pieces everyone’s selected and put their spin on. Very inspiring.

    Here is my submission for this month. I chose “Blue Skies.” I will say it’s been fun to learn the “chord roll”, not sure if that’s the technical term, used in a couple of the measures. I look forward to getting the song up to a quicker tempo as I learn the technique a bit more.

    Best,
    Megan
