    I really like #30. Such a difficult piece for me. I need to work on hammer-ons. Im going to start early this time

    After listening to all of the etudes, I narrowed my choices down to three, and then ultimately chose Number 29. It’s a really lovely piece…enjoying it very much!

    Thank you @jasdel.

    I’m really looking forward for this challenge. The number 1 etude is a good starting point sinne I’m still a beginner, but it is a beautiful and relaxing piece. No need to Rush.

    I’ve zoned in on etude #4 – dynamics, pull-offs, a little CAGED application and moving UP the neck. I’ve finally figured out higher frets are UP the neck and lower frets are DOWN the neck. Always seemed backwards to me, but it’s in my brain now – UP vs DOWN. Lots of practice ahead, but really like the sound of this etude. I seem to practice more when I really like the song 🙂
    Have fun everyone!

    @deadbuggy nice. Liked it a lot. @nat-uke totally agree, much more fun practicing for a song you like! @the_bumble_bard think I’m going with #20. It’s an intermediate challenge but all the things I can work on. Also has CAGED method like #4, we shall see. November is starting out busier than usual. Good luck everyone 🎼👏🎼👍 Louisa

    I decided to try the newest video, etude no. 36! Usually, I’ve been aiming for the “Level 2” videos, but I’ve been trying to follow Andrew’s advice and focus on timing, (My shoulders are bobbing up and down slightly in the video because I’m tapping my foot as suggested haha) so I picked this one to focus more on playing with steady timing. I think that I still have a long way to go on that front – and I’m not yet able to count the notes in my head while playing, but practicing playing with a metronome and tapping to the beat seems to help.

    So I wanted to make an etude I already know sound different, so I decided to try and experiment with Etude #1, or at least I think its number 1 lol

    @lucauka
    I thought your playing was beautiful and has inspired me to learn this tune and maybe submit as well this month!

    @deadbuggy

    When going through the etudes trying to decide which one to pick, number 15 immediately felt like the obvious choice after the Toccata and Fugue last month, with a similar vibe. My favorite part is the whole tone scale, that sounds and plays really cool, something different for a change. Here you go:

    Hello @jbmills07.

    Your playing was lovely and the way you experimented with the effects with this etude resonated very well with it’s vibe. This was the same piece I was gonna record this weekend.

    Excellent playing!
    It definitely has a sinister vibe to it and made me think of Dracula crawling down his castle wall!

    @annemarie , I have also chosen #35. You played it so beautifully. I hope I will be able to play it that well eventually

    Thank you, Idarrow. I was pleasantly surprised how well it transferred to the baritone. I’m sure your version will be wonderful!
