    Hello everyone!

    Here is my attempt with – “A Duet from the Heart”. With AJ, 75% of Speed.

    And once again, this time without AJ, as a trio 🙂

    @brettboy – Awesome playing on both parts, Brett! I noticed just a couple of minor things: In the first A melody, you started the repeat one bar late, and the very last note of the tune was also a bar late. I have to admit, the form of the song is a bit unorthodox, I was actually making similar mistakes when I was writing and practicing it! 😅

    @katazumiri
    – Bravo, brilliant takes Lena! 👏

    Hey everyone! I first joined Rock Class 101 after stumbling upon Andrew’s incredible cover of Zelda’s theme, and ever since, I’ve been hooked! The platform has been such an amazing resource for learning and improving my playing.

    This month, I decided to tackle Kakariko Village because, let’s be real, I’m a huge Zelda fan. 😅 I’ve played all the games (Ocarina of Time more times than I can count, haha).

    Fun fact: Robin Williams was such a big fan too, he even named his daughter Zelda in honor of the game! Can’t wait to share my cover and hear your thoughts!

    Here is my youtube link:

    I played the strum part of Kakariko Village. It took me a while to stop listening to the melody and messing up. Fun to play a duet. I’m working on the melody.

    Here’s my September submission of Wildwood Flower. This was certainly a month for me to work on some new things! I picked up the U-Bass just a few weeks ago and have enjoyed learning this backing track. And learning how to do 2 recordings and make a split screen video was another learning curve. I don’t think I got the meshing of videos quite right, but it seemed the best I could do. I didn’t memorize, and there are plenty of mistakes and variable tempos, but I had to let that go too. And my dog’s collar shake at the end makes me laugh. I love the clawhammer style and enjoyed this lesson very much. Thanks again to the Rock Class 101 community. I’m looking forward to your submissions.

    @karenj – Clawhhammer & bass technique looked and sounded great! I can’t believe you are only 3 weeks into it, incredibly impressive! Wonderful performance Karen, keep up the great work! 🙂
