Hello! So here is my very poor attempt at People are strange. For some reason, my “stage fright” is getting worse, and as a result I didn’t manage to post anything for last month’s challenge. I was determined to post something this month, but as soon as I start recording, my hands start shaking, I forget what I’m doing, and end up with a buzzy mess! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hi. Here is my attempt at Hone A Ka Wai. I found this too difficult on my tenor ukulele so borrowed those little soprano, which made it much easier. I’m still struggling with bars 9 and 13 and also stumbled a couple of times during this recording, but still pleased as this is my second submission for this month’s challenge.
Also, many thanks to Stephen for your feedback for all of my previous submissions – always helpful and encouraging.

Hi. Here is my attempt at Loke Lani. A lot of room for improvement, but I’m pleased with the progress so far – I still need to work some more on increasing my reach for the stretch chords, building up speed, and increasing flow. However, two weeks ago, I couldn’t make any sound with the stretch chords and had never attempted a triplet strum. I’m hoping to submit a second song by the end of the month, having just started to learn Hone A Ka Wai. Thank you for making these challenges so varied. Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for us next month!

Here’s my attempt at Lagrima. A bit out of my league as this is only month 3 of my ukulele learning experience. I’m hoping with more practice that my playing will become more consistent, and there’ll be less residual strung noise when moving my left hand. Thank you!
