Hi everyone, I chose to work on ‘O come, all ye faithful’ for this month’s challenge.
I still struggle a lot with rhythm and tempo, I’m having classes because I find it very difficult to work with a metronome by myself. I need someone to call my attention to it when I lose it.I would like to thank Andrew and Rock Class 101 team for all their work and efforts putting this together and for making it so pleasant and enjoyable for all of us. A huge thank you to all of you!
I’m humbled by the quality of many of the players that are part of this and participate in these challenges. Congratulations to you all. Good Luck for the raffle.

I’m finally being able to play the theme and listing to Matt. Look at my setup. Electric uke, headphones and air phones at the same time. Thanks once again for the feedback.
@andrew no, it was not intentional. I’m a beginner. I also noticed that I failed a few notes in the beginning. I was focusing more on the 3 fingers and on the pull-offs. I find it very hard to play along with the instructor ( Matt in this case) and with Rhythm counting. Too many things to pay attention to. I tried to feel the rhythm more than counting, and also to play as fast as Matt did. That was on purpose but not trying to achieve the final result. Thanks for the feedback. @ukefinlandgirl, I guess you were mentioning what Andrew wrote , right?

I picked Etude #36 to participate this time, to work on the three finger technique and on pull-offs.
There’s so much fun and excitement on these challenges. I’m already anxious for the next one. Bring it on!P.S. I tried to post this earlier today but it doesn’t show up, so trying again.

I feel humbled when looking at all the performances posted here.
I decided to learn the Addams Family theme, so I could offer it to my twin 10yo nieces who love Halloween. I’ll try to record a final performance disguised and Uncle Fester.
I’m a beginner, so this is the best I could do until now. If I improve until the 31st I will update my post.
Why is it so difficult to play while recording video? All the mistakes that may probably happen, will happen while recording!…
