Thanks Andrew and everyone at ROCKCLASS101 for another wonderful opportunity to get outside of my comfort zone. So in the 11th hour, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when my low G electric ukulele pick-up toggle switch got smashed rendering it not able to be amplified. So I took a chance and just played the song without amplification…it’s difficult to hear but I hope it still counts. Mistakes were made but I always have fun with these challenges!

I had fun with this challenge! I’m a huge Stranger Things fan and had a blast learning this. I also really enjoyed listening to everyone’s submissions and seeing all of the passion for ukulele’s out there. Nice work everyone!
I’m finding that I’m never great when I try to record myself…so there’s a few mistakes, but had a blast anyway!
Thanks Andrew, for another great challenge!

I everyone, Happy Holidays!
I switched my G strings on my high and low G ukulele’s so that I could play Linus and Lucy better on my cutaway. LOL, so here is my attempt at Greensleeves on my newly switched Low G. :o)
Thank you Andrew and Rock Class 101 team for creating such an amazing learning environment!

I totally hear what you’re saying about not being able to get the hands to do what ya want. Ha! I’m hoping to practice a bit more than I have been able to. Thanks again for your comments. :o)
Andrew, Thanks for your feedback! I’ll check out the rhythm in bar 14 and watch your video to see how I can refine this a bit more! I really do appreciate how encouraging you are!

I Love AJ’s arrangement of Can’t help falling in love! Thank you Andrew for these awesome opportunities to push myself and even overcome some stage fright that I apparently have while recording.

Yikes, I decided to do this October challenge in the 11th hour. I’m absolutely obsessed with the “Disturbed” version of this song so I played it quite a bit slower. Well, let’s face it, it was also deceptively difficult for me for whatever reason. It also turns out that recording myself is a challenge like no other. LOL. Anyway, here is my imperfect rendition. Thanks, Andrew for providing such great songs to learn!

What a fantastic challenge! I’m so grateful for this opportunity! I picked up my Ukulele for the first time in many years and decided to give this challenge a try. I definitely bit off more than I could chew, but by the time I realized it, I was in too deep. So I REALLY pushed myself to finish the song. So many things to work on, but this pushed me past my comfort zone in so many ways!
