I only had 10 days because I didn’t start until way too late. Still I decided to give ‘The Aching Waltz’ a go (because I love it.) I couldn’t quite get the entire lead and rhythm learned, so I played against the backing tracking without the lead, and played along with much of the rhythm. This is as good as I can get the recording at this late stage. Its 75%. That said, I play like a musical genius in my room, alone, without the record button on! 🙂
Thanks for the great challenge – again. I learn so much. Also love all the submissions from those I know and those I’m getting to know.

Here is my entry for this month’s challenge, Mika’s beautiful 4/4 waltz. There are a few dud notes along the way; however, I achieved one of my goals which was to memorise the piece, something that I struggle with.

Here is my attempt at Mika’s 4/4 Waltz. A little choppy here and there but I sure enjoyed Learning it. Also I love everyone’s songs as well, inspires me to to keep practicing!

Hello everyone,
great submissions! I like to watch them.I chose the “Daft Funk” duet for high G and low G ukulele (I don’t have any baritone one. Yet 😁).
The biggest challenge for me was to learn how to work with a video editor and combine all the audio tracks into one so that the time fits correctly. I’m proud of myself, how I managed it.
Of course, there are inaccuracies in the recording, but overall I am satisfied with it. (Which I usually can’t say.)Enjoy May and a new challenge!

Hi, I’m new(ish) to uke (started playing Aug 2023) & joined rockclass101 a few months ago. So far I’ve just enjoyed watching other people’s videos but thought I’d try joining in this month. Can’t believe how nervous the camera made me and how much it made me mess up, but here’s my “best” take. 😂
Thanks Andrew!
