    @bibilele – My pleasure! Here’s one extra tip I just thought of that can help you too 🙂

    And I found a clip of EVH doing this technique. His method is wild! Check it out.

    Musicians keep crazy hours (lol)! @Andrew, thank-you for the (3am) critique and the link to Per-Olof Kindgren’s magical performance…..beautiful and inspiring. Also, your critique for @bibilele (great job @bibilele) was just cool!

    @Potter
    I loved your rendition of Sponge Bob Square Pants, a perfect tribute to Verity. RIP sweet Verity.

    @jbmills07

    @andrew thank you for the positive feedback. My grandkids said it sounded like a nighttime song… cute. Exactly why I love it.

    @potter
    I’m so sorry for your fur-baby loss. So hard. 🐶🫶🎼

    @jbmills07
    saw your post on another site before on here. Brought tears. Lovely playing.
    So many great posts with obvious improvement. Love Blackbird, Red is the rose, game of thrones, Spanish romance, so many

    @the_bumble_bard
    always love your posts because everyone relates to the trials we must master. Confidence is huge. We all want to play well but as soon as we hit record YIKES. I remember my first few posts I’d record a million times but only wanted to get through the song! Then it was ok to get through a song with few mistakes is ok… now I’m working on more perfection but just can’t be happy when I’m recording. The fun part is learning and knowing its baby steps along this path. Bring on the next challenge!

    Thank you for the video response Andrew. I think, in my mind if I could play it faster then that would mean I got better at it, but you are right, if I slow it down its sounds better, feels better and it’s definitely more fluid than the first take.
    Faster doesn’t always mean better.

    Here’s everyone on page 12.

    @jayton
    – The new take is a big improvement Jayton! You’re playing the rhythms a lot cleaner. Tempo, pacing, and flow are much improved too! Excellent work!

    @potter
    – I’m so sorry for your loss Jen. I can hear the emotion in your playing. It was absolutely beautiful ❤️

    @kelsey91
    – Wow, Kelsey! I hear a big difference in your new take vs. the old one. You’re playing it with incredible fluidity and sustain. Your fingerpicking chops have greatly improved too! Keep up the excellent work!

    @yukalele
    – Your arr. is beautiful David! I think you perfectly captured the essence of the piece. Well done!

    @jbmills07
    – Beautiful, Justin ❤️

    @andyrose
    – Y’all need to take the show on the road, that was awesome!

    @xerxes
    – You played it beautifully! The thing I would work on is eliminating the pauses between phrases. Here’s one tip that you can try:

    @rw1950merritt
    – Your note clarity is much improved on the new take! Memorizing def helps with that as it allows you to focus 100% on what you’re playing. This is especially true with a piece like this one, as it jumps up and down the neck a lot. Overall, it was a beautiful performance! Well done!

    Thanks Andrew, I really appreciated your comment. It’s been such fun getting this far with Ukuleke under the guidance of RC101!

    @Joe150

    You asked for tabs to Blackbird. I never expected that request and I’m honoured!

    I haven’t a clue how to do this other than pen and paper, but I’ll have a go. If I manage, on which forum should I post it?

    @frederic: Congratulations!

    @jbmills07
    : What a beautiful tribute with a most appropriate song. You spent a lot of time to honour your loved one in that way.

    @potter
    : You’ve lost a loyal friend – condolences. It’s so hard when pets have to leave us, but she obviously had the best life with you.

    @Andrew
    : Your feedback for everyone is what makes this website so special – staying up until o’dark early to do so! I appreciate that you take time to make videos when you need to show a technique – I always learn something from those, too.

    Well done, everyone! It’s encouraging and inspiring to see how people’s skills have developed over the years.
