    @misterbones, haha, so true! The Imperial March is quintessential Star Wars. It sounds really good on the bass. 😀

    , so magical that you’re playing your banjolele so much more! Ha, the loudness of the banjo-uke is why I don’t play it as often because I have neighbors. 😂 You’re making me want to play it more now, anyway, though yours has a much richer and sweeter sound than mine! Thank you so much, like I told you in the other thread, she is doing okay today. I have to monitor her breathing every day and it’s stable for now. She is still doing all the important kitty things, eating, drinking, litter-box-ing, and most importantly, cuddling. I let her gently play but not vigorously like she was doing. Her sweet little heart needs to be treated delicately now. Thank you so much for asking and for the support with that! 😻

    I had fun with the Dock of the Bay this month. What a fun arrangement! This is one that I will keep practicing.

    Hello everyone!
    Here is my attempt. I chose „Sittin’ On The Dock of the Bay“.

    I don’t live in San Francisco and we don’t have a bay, but we do have a place where you can watch ships, mostly barges, go by. It’s called the Mittellandkanal.
    There are docks there, but I wouldn’t say it’s a comfortable place to sit. It’s a favorite place for joggers and cyclists. However, if someone wants to “just sit and waste time,” no one will bother them 🙂

    @leslieb, nicely played and great that @andrew is showcasing it. It was a tough one for me getting those up/down/down/ups 😁 👏

    @alojzy_bomba: Not only did you play that duet so beautifully, you put yourself in the picture twice, an effect I’ve only seen in films.

    @katazumiri
    : I look forward to your many-faceted submissions, this time with a video of a peaceful canal – looks like a perfect place to sit and waste time, although if you were to play your uke at the same time, it wouldn’t be a waste!

    @andrew Thank you! 🙂

    @grannieannie
    Thank you very much. I agree with you that playing the ukulele in this place would be great 🙂
    When I wrote “sitting and wasting time”, it was not about me. I was having a nice Sunday afternoon, going out to the canal in another part of town with my husband.

    The phrase “sitting and wasting time” was taken from the lyrics of a song by Ottis Redding. It is about a man who left Georgia and sought a better life in San Francisco. The expectations of the man in the song were not met; his life situation did not improve. He received a lot of advice, but did not follow it, and he felt lonely. All he did from morning to night was “sit on the dock and wast time”
