Hello I am rather new too and I love the uke. I have had the opportunity to join a local group who meet weekly and we strum along with a leader. Its nice and social and we meet in the pub for an hour or so. It has made me really wish I had learnt an instrument or something when I was young! It has also made me look for something a bit more which led me here. Good luck with the June challenge. and yes this is a good site….thanks Andrew
Hello from Oz!! Pretty much a newbie, age challenged student here and have made the ukulele my new “life’s goal”. Can you please discuss the pros and cons of a low G versus a high G? and which should I choose? Our uke leader has a low g, but I am not sure… I feel sometimes he High G is better.
