I’ve escaped the feet of snow in the north, for the month of February. Still playing a lot with local groups down here but practice time is not top of my priority. I’ve added tremolo and Tenn. waltz to my to do in future. @karenj sounds really nice.

@the_bumble_bard thank you for your sweet comments and also from last month when Mysticrick won grand prize Uke. Yes I hope to play it when it arrives. We play in a group together and I told him about RC a few years ago. I was so jealous but he’s a great musician and teacher so he’ll share.☺️. Hope your life has less stress, you sure put a lot into playing and it shows. You are so nice to spend the time commenting on others 👏🤗

Hi folks, been out of the loop a while. So busy and enjoying a new grandchild takes away from practice.
So many great entries. I’ve gotten to see a few @the_bumble_bard you continue to amaze me. So creative. @lhamilton excellent clawhammer. I love my old banjo uke. So fun to play and clawhammer sounds so cool. @brettboy great base groove… makes me want to learn those riffs. @grannieannie you too are showing great improvement and talent love your song. @katazumiri you truly are a one gal show, love it. @misterbones classical uke is beautiful ill have to check the link. And for now @marianne, your harmonics just ring! My entry is the Andalusian Cadence that Marco Cirillo posted and you played it so beautifully in an entry, i had to try… not even close in comparison to yours but it’s moving. So here is my take. Hope to be more active but for now, hugging babies takes priority 🥰. LouisaExcellent post @abster and guessing that’s your sister singing. Well done. Such a musical family. So impressive.👏👏👏

Very busy month. We celebrated the birth of #6 grandchild but it was our daughter’s first. Baby girl. So fun to have a little one to hold as our other grans are 8-19 yrs.
That being said and overwhelmed with joy and blessings – decided to play “Away In The Manger”. Seemed very fitting.
Haven’t had much time for comments last month or so but truly we have great talent at RC and you are getting better as I’ve grown to know many of you. I like that part of RC. A real community. @uwchlanhillsunicornsunite Wow what a long participant name ☺️ WELCOME exciting you have joined this very welcoming group. I hope you start to post some of the songs you are working on. I think it’s wonderful you are starting young. Many of us picked up our first ukulele later in life.
