Very busy month. We celebrated the birth of #6 grandchild but it was our daughter’s first. Baby girl. So fun to have a little one to hold as our other grans are 8-19 yrs.
That being said and overwhelmed with joy and blessings – decided to play “Away In The Manger”. Seemed very fitting.
Haven’t had much time for comments last month or so but truly we have great talent at RC and you are getting better as I’ve grown to know many of you. I like that part of RC. A real community. Many thanks Andrew and all the teachers. Peace LouisaHappy Holiday Season everyone. Exciting Andrew is having the fundraiser again. I will be participating. Look forward to all entries. Louisa
@uwchlanhillsunicornsunite Wow what a long participant name ☺️ WELCOME exciting you have joined this very welcoming group. I hope you start to post some of the songs you are working on. I think it’s wonderful you are starting young. Many of us picked up our first ukulele later in life.

@karenj lovely take on O.T.R. and your childhood memory. I can certainly relate to it. An added note we traveled in our old paneled station wagon and we were allowed to lay down in the back with our feet out the rear window 🤣😂. Good ole days.Happy holidays everyone. Enjoying all the iron man entries. It’s a tough one with the slides. My fingers are slowly recovering 😆

@Andrew is so positive with his comments and giving tips to improve, usually we all know ourselves, but often it’s something we miss.

Blown away on those that tackled 6 minutes of playing. @misterbones and @shmu88 and @kanique very well played. It’s gonna get busy this last week. Look forward to more entries. LouisaMy fingers have thicker calluses after iron man and too many attempts to get a clear video. Im glad @karenj asked your question and @marianne your response helped – amazing recording you entered.
I’ll admit it was a tough selection this month. Not a huge heavy metal fan (showing my age). However it’s such a familiar riff/tune it was fun to learn.Here’s my better (not best) try
