ParticipantThanks so much @Andrew for taking the time to respond. I really do appreciate the feedback and will work on that groove for sure. I did move back to the High G for the Etude 15 tune and will post soon, still trying to figure out a slower pace. Mahalo!

ParticipantNice job willymac! Like that you slowed it down a bit, sounds sweet with the extra strums.

ParticipantGreat Job Mairi! You got the rhythm down for sure. Sounds great.

ParticipantAloha Deadbuggy. I like the run or stretches. I like your strumming as well. I like breaking it down in 4 beats in each bar and start slow. I try to nod my head up and down (slightly) to the beat, to create the swagger because when I tap my feet, I tend to get off course. Especially in bar 9 and 10.
Hope that’s helpful, if not, please let me know.

ParticipantI really like the Pono models. Warm and crips sounds. I just bought a Tiny-Tenor Mahogony (Daniel Ho model) by Romeo Creations. Their price is is about $550, and I love it. If you are really interested in playing the Uke, buy a good instrument, it will make a big difference. I bought a few cheap Uke’s when I started, and they are harder to play in my opinion compared to a good mid-range uke ($400-600).

ParticipantI’M A PREMIUM MEMBER 🙂 (Forgot to put that on it’s on line)
Started working on the challenge etude. Sounds so cool. Trying it with a low-G and bit slower. I find that it gives it a deeper, darker sound.Any Thoughts?
