Thank you @Andrew. I’m not lying when I say I haven’t had time to play it and record it. I could play better the last ascending dynamic…but the last descendent sounds cool!!

I know I can do it better but I also know I can’t do it better when i’m recording myself. My hands start to sweat and I have only a few tries before I have to stop. However,I’d need a few months to play it well.Thank you for this lessons!!!

Thank you @leb397!! I don’t use an amplifier, is from the audio recording. I was looking for a church-cathedral sound, but maybe there are too much reverb. I’m still testing these things…and this won’t be the last(and the best) take. Thank you again!!

Here is my first attempt at Adelita. I have to play the A melody more fluently and not cut the sound. It’s the first time that I do n’t use the metronome to learn and record a lesson, but the rubato with a metronome is something that continues to be difficult for me. The lesson about Rubato has helped me, although my English is still a little weak and I don’t understand some parts. In any case, I have a week left to continue practicing, although I know that I will need weeks or maybe months to practice so that this beautiful melody sounds as it deserves. Thank you again…

I still having trouble when I release my fingers from the strings and sometimes there are unexpected noises. I don’t know if it’s because I tighten the strings too much or because when I’m recording,my hands sweat a lot or rather because of both. It’s something I have to improve… anyway, since the day Adelita’s lesson was published, I’ve only been practicing this one.Thank you so much for this lessons!! I’m a premium member

Thank you @andrew!! It’s a concert uke. It’s my very first uke and it costs me less than 100€(3 years ago) but I guess the key are on the strings. The red Aquila are( for me)the best for this cheap ukes (I prefer it than the supernylgut Aquila)but it’s not easy to do pull offs. The other concert uke I use is a solid acacia uke and I use the fluorocarbon strings that are the best for me to do this things. I have an tenor too but I would have to restring it with a low g. Maybe I will try it. Than you so much for all this advices!!

This month I’ve been able to spend more time on the couple of courses I’m doing (notation and fingerpicking) and less on the challenge. I haven’t understood the part of the video that explains how to put the thumb and I don’t know if I do it well because it’s hard for me to do the pull offs with the index finger because I don’t have enough space. Anyway, here is my challenge of the month; being from the northwest of Spain,it is very likely that I have Celtic roots… and that’s really cool…

Thank you so much @Andrew. I started with the Etude#3 but I like to challenge myself and the picking pattern of the melody B was a big big challenge. Anyway,I know I can do it better and I know that the only key is play as much time as I can…

I had to make cuts because I recorded the melodies A and C in a couple of takes while for the melody B I needed a couple of thousand takes. Even so,I accidentally deleted the best audio take and this is the best I recorded. It’s the hardest thing I’ve learned so far on the ukulele and I have a feeling it would take another month of playing it daily for it to sound smoothly.I also needed to record with the metronome because otherwise it’s impossible for me to play it well. Thank you!!

While I’m fighting with the melody b from Etude #12, I try to relax by playing this tune. I haven’t thrown the ukulele out the window yet, so it works!!! I’m a premium member
