but not a premium player…
I’m so sorry to have uploaded a video with such a bad image and sound quality.
But as my best friend 🐶 was sitting next to me and helping me through my many mistakes I thought that I have to upload it to say thanks for his patience during all my practicing sessions…To all you guys here at RC101… I wish you all a merry Christmas 🤶🏼🎄🎅🏼, all the best for the coming year and hopefully better performances from me… 🙃
I want to say thank you to you, Andrew, and to all the members of your team. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your site and even if my progress is not to be seen I will continue and follow your lessons and hopefully one day…

nthibodeMemberThanks @santai 🙂 Merry Christmas to you and yours (dog included!).
For those of you who mentioned being nervous in front of the camera — the struggle is real! It does get better over time, though even after a year of monthly challenges, I still run into issues and memory lapses when recording. On one of my recordings this month I paused after “I’ll have a …” because I couldn’t remember what colour the Christmas was supposed to be. But it’s in the discomfort that we grow; it’s through our mistakes that we learn. So keep pushing yourself!
Wishing you all the best!

awiealissaParticipantMy entry for the December challenge 😊
I’ve started using a metronome recently and I still find it a bit difficult, so I’m interested what you’re going to say about my timing in this video 🙈
Merry Christmas 😊❄️☃️💫View this post on Instagram"White Christmas" – My entry for the @rockclass101 December challenge. armiefoxMemberHi Andrew!
Thanks for the feedback. I recognize what you pointed out and will check out the link when I find your response, lol. I feel like I focus more on memorization of notes more than technique but I think I’ll get there eventually. I have to keep practicing! Merry Christmas!

Below is my try at “White Christmas”
This is my very first post here, and I am supprised how hard it is to record yourself. Far from perfect, but what I managed. Thank you for the push to get playing!
Merry Christmas!

On the very last day, but I made it. Greensleeves is a song which was on my list to learn to play in the Ukulele, so I’m glad i got the chance now.
Merry Christmas everybody and a very happy New Year to all of you!

By the way, I’m still working on playing with more emotion. In case you think I finally achieved that in the last 4 measures of this one, that’s not what was going on… Having scrapped several recordings, and the almost good one that I deleted after an Amazon Prime truck with thumping bass visited the next door neighbor and excited my dogs…., I was determined not to stop this recording even though I was about to be overtaken by a coughing fit.
Andrew, I’ll send you numbers for my Ukulele Kids Club donation and company match.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone.

Andrew, I donated yesterday to the ukulele kids club. I did a $50 donation that is going to recur every year. It’s a great organization I’m happy to support them.
As for my video, and I’m finally getting it in on time compared to last month. I was up to the wee hours working on the video and then I had to go to work, so I’m getting it in now but as long as it’s before your East Coast time I’m good! I was more challenged by this song then I thought I would be. because I guess, when it comes to finger style, I am still a beginner. But I feel like I improved a lot working on this song.
Thanks for the great lessons Andrew!
Uke On!
