MemberI’m having so much fun with Santa Fe and I haven’t been this excited about a song in a while. As always the arrangement and the lesson are great! Thanks so much @Andrew

MemberHi all! I wanted to tackle St Anne’s Reel this month but I pretty quickly decided that I had to go back to the Triple Strum Etude to learn the triple strum. I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with the triple strum once I started getting a little more comfortable with it!

MemberI submitted an entry early in the month and before the month ended I want to share my song after trying to incorporate the feedback I got from Andrew. Thanks for the feedback!

MemberA while back I started playing a picking pattern that I adapted from a folk guitar song I really like. I turned that into a progression with another picking pattern I came up with and some strumming and I had a lot of fun playing that! When I saw this challenge I thought it might a good chance to share it with everyone so I added some picking at the beginning and end to try to make it more song-like. I hope you guys enjoy it!

MemberI tried recording the melody and harmony separately too. I haven’t played with myself or other people before so there’s still lots of timing issues but hopefully it’s clear what I’m trying to go for

MemberThanks! I hope that reharmonize was the right word to use. I used that because I saw it on some Adam Neely videos. The idea was basically to pick new chords to give it a different sound without changing any notes from the original melody

Memberah that makes sense. If I run my finger over the nut I can feel the E and C strings slightly raised. Thank you very much!
