marianneParticipantLovely submissions everyone! @grannieannie beautifully sophisticated composition as Andrew said! Love some of your peculiar choices.
@katazumiri that was so cool πI enjoyed going through the harmonics course from beginning to end and capping it with Amazing Grace. I decided to learn and record both versions as I felt they complimented each other. Started with Evan’s then with yours Andrew, as I felt the F chord on measure 13 provided a nice variation/touch as a start to the ending.

marianneParticipantItβs been a very hectic monthβ¦!
I am focusing on harmonics this month as it is not a forte of mine.Execution: I will work through the harmonics course. I have never tried the tapping so that will be interestingβ¦
Application: I will then apply it to Amazing Grace hopefully.
Evaluation: As I go through the course, I will be trying to improve on the cleanliness and success/hit of the natural harmonics, relearn the artificial ones as I had only tried those once before and then aim to learn the tapping ones which seem unreachable right now π
Nicely done @The_Bumble_Bard!

Hello RC101 friends,
I chose for this month the incredibly beautiful fingerpicking etude n.28. What a melancholic and pleasing chord progression AJ. Thank you!!
I also felt it was a perfect tune that worked well on both low G tenor and baritone and wanted to compare the sounds, so they are back to back.
This week has been particularly rough as a young work colleague passed away after a horrid accident. I dedicate this interpretation to her memory.

marianneParticipant@karenj it is really a challenge but one tip is to really try to keep your fingers pressed down the whole way (which is harder when you are playing 2 simultaneously) and also for me having my nails cut short enough where the ‘meat’ of my finger tip is solely doing the work π
These have worked for me but am sure Andrew and the RC101 team have more tips to offer!
Stick with it!Nice take @Dianna!

marianneParticipant@Shmu88: lovely take! thanks a lot for picking my composition π
@grannieannie look forward to hearing your take!
Beautiful submissions @misterbones, @leb397, @nat-uke and @brettboy.
@brettboy I also record on my phone and rely on GarageBand to export… π will eventually upgrade to a more professional recording setup haha
marianneParticipantRachael, if this helps, the ‘AND’ condition means the resulting songs have to meet ALL criteria (narrower return of options) vs the ‘OR’ condition that means the resulting songs have to meet EITHER/ANY of the criteria selected.
Andrew, great progress on the styling changes and the filtering logic/functioning! I did notice something though while testing it out. As per the attached, under ‘Ukulele Songs’, I selected for instance Level 4 songs (52) from the ‘Difficulty’ set. The changes to the 2 following sets (and beyond) should total up to 52, but I am seeing more: Ukulele Tuning: 49 + 4 = 53 and Arrangement Type: 39 + 4 + 7 + 8 = 58 (etc.) Shouldn’t they all come to a total of 52?
Thanks! Exciting times π
