mkprussMemberLove it Carrie. You did great! That was the speed I was trying for and I thought I had it down but I couldn’t maintain for a whole recording so I slowed it DOWN but still couldn’t get all the way through without problems. Love your mistake and reaction. We had several laughing fits in our earlier attempts (and some cursing)!

mkprussMemberWhew. Here is my entry of Spongebob Squarepants. I have a ton of excuses why it isn’t as good as I wanted it to be — I’m out of town, playing my mom’s ukulele, the pressure was on,… I asked my son to make the video and he did about 20 takes until I finally gave up! This one will have to do. It was fun.

mkprussMemberWow. Thanks for the compliments everyone. I practiced a lot and listened to Andrew’s good advice. The metronome really helped me. I’m trying to remember to use it when I practice and to keep looping the harder parts. I’m working on Fur Elise and plan to try to get back to Canon in D soon. One of my favorites on here is the Toccata & Fugue. Don’t think I’ll EVER get there, but a girl can dream. https://rockclass101.com/toccata-fugue-d-minor/
I’m really impressed by everyone’s entries and I think the critiques by Andrew are great. Thanks so much for this site!

mkprussMemberAwesome job on Canon in D, Carmelo! I got about half of that one, but the harder parts seem a bit too challenging at the moment. I’m hoping to post Ode to Joy later today. Really good job on this one Carmelo! You inspired me to start working on it again.
Wow. Just listened to Cindy play it and got more inspiration! Terrific job!

mkprussMemberI love this challenge. Better go practice…
mkprussMemberGreat job! I like the intro too.
mkprussMemberWow. I haven’t been on the forums in a while. I’ve missed a lot. Great job both of you on this one! Its amazing how good and eerie this sounds on the ukulele. I was working on it for a while but never got it anywhere near down. Guess I’ll have to get back to it soon.
mkprussMemberVery nice! I have a Mahogany top Cordoba 20CM Concert Uke. It is my first and only uke (so far). After my mom saw mine, she got herself a prettier Spruce top Cordoba concert uke. They are both very nice ukes for a good price. I like the sound of mine a little better. Mine is mellower, hers is brighter.
