Hohoho Rockclass,
I had a lot planned but unfortunately didn’t manage to edit a video with my furry singing friend.
The song was definitely a real challenge… and then singing it…😅 Since I had only learned the verses, the tempo was right for them, but I couldn’t manage it for the solo.
I send warm hugs to the whole community here. I thank you for all the kindness and the great exchange and I thank @Andrew (and all the other fantastic teachers) for this fantastic platform, which keeps challenging my passion for the instrument and thus allows it to grow steadily.

i tried a mad time to post something. Nothing appears here 😰. Time ist running out – are there any hints for me to solve my Problem?

… It worked with a YT-video, the issue was about embedding soundcloud….Thank you very much for the kind (and honest 😂) words. Maybe it would have been better to record each part separately and not the whole tune, but that was the goal I had set for myself. Now I’ve hammered it into my fingers so many times that i’ll never forget this etude.☺️
By the way, it was at 165 and not 156 bpm as i wrote … crazy!@ryanuke:

You took part with a Christmastune but in November it has to be a Fingerpicking Etude – you can reach them fast by a link in the opening post by Andrew.I think you can do it in time, good luck!

What fantastic contributions from all of you this month! Wow!
I started out learning Evans’ wonderful Etude no. 22. Then I decided to move a little out of my comfort zone and moved on to Etude no. 9.
What can I say? Now I had my challenge…
My goal was to do it in one take. Unfortunately I couldn’t do it without making a mistake – let alone hitting the horrible 156 bpm in the third part…

@The_Bumble_Bard, after watching your video i must say, that i’m in the mood to learn this tune also. It’s always a nice experience to quickly learn a song and just shows how you can feel it. In my opinion the “right” tempo is of secondary importance as long as the timing and feeling are right.I’m Premium member

i could not resist my inner demons and made a take of “Blue Moon”, which i learned more than two years ago. Just love Stevens arrangement, thx for that. The Halloween-theme is in progress and i’m full of bloody hope to get it also done this month.

The first and funny thing is, that i learned this one in just two days and i never played before with a backingtrack, but it feeled so good and the melody is so damn catchy. The second thing, on the other side, is, that i feel so much more comfortable with my Concert Uke, that i’m now a little bit in panic about the my beautiful Tenor. I did not participate two months but had much fun with “Hawaii 5 o” at my Holidays.
A few days ago i heared “Duet from the Heart” which catched me instantly. Then it filled my weekend and i recorded myself the first time with a backingtrack today. Thanks Andrew …. you got me completely 🤭.Good luck and much fun this months for all of you!

here ist my attempt at “Where ist my mind?”. Thx Steven for the very nice Arrangement. Not everything is clean and i made a little mistake. But it’s proudly featured with a little name giving “hang on” in the second verse (….where was my mind?….).
