sprintingyoginiParticipantThis is soooo cool!
sprintingyoginiParticipantAlso, here she is. I named her Little Eddie Bouvier.
sprintingyoginiParticipantI have an Ortega concert. It’s a blue one with cutaway and pickup from the Earth Series. I switched the strings our for Living Water. The main thing that bugs me is the logo on the head is a sticker, so that looks cheap and it’s gonna wear off, but the important part of how it sounds is good. It has decent volume. It’s light. It feels pretty balanced and overall I like it. Plus, they’re reasonably priced.
After I wrote this, I noticed your question was asked a long time ago. So, did you get one and how is it?
sprintingyoginiParticipantYay! Awesome and congratulations!

sprintingyoginiParticipantAlright, who else is impatiently waiting to see what theme and songs June brings? Seriously, super anxious excited about finding out what I will be working on next and hesitating to start anything new. Just playing the what I know over and over (which has its benefits for sure).

sprintingyoginiParticipantSometimes I think I’m not improving, because there are still so many mistakes, but then things like learning and memorizing Here Comes The Sun happens in a week (with a few extra days of practice) and I realize I’m getting better than I realize. Thanks so much for making this possible Andrew and friends!
Still has some mistakes (guess which transition is hardest 🤪), but here is what a year of playing ukulele with online tutorials, including rockclass101 has done (ukuversary on Saturday!)
I’m a premium member, but already submitted When I’m 64. This is just my personal bonus challenge.

sprintingyoginiParticipantThis is where I stand right now with When I’m 64. I will keep playing it and start working on Here Comes the Sun, just for fun.
In the meantime…

sprintingyoginiParticipant@bzediver, I leave the interpretation of whom is singing in what up to the listener as my art and music are for the people. I’m glad you appreciated my performance.

sprintingyoginiParticipantHi Friends,
I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER.
I gave myself three attempts outside this weekend and this was the best one. There was a party occurring somewhere in the background, so I sort of had a public performance, which is so outside my comfort zone. Anyway, here’s my entry of Dream a Little Dream, mistakes and all.

sprintingyoginiParticipantI had forgotten my goals, so I’m glad you asked. Although I forgot, it seems I forgot, because it has just become a habit. I have been getting in more than my goal practice time of 30 minutes per day. I’m not counting, but I’m pretty sure I’ve got at least a song per month memorized and I just started working on a level 2 piece this weekend.
Now I’m considering looking into private lessons. I’ve been playing fr a year and practicing daily no problem, so I know I won’t be wasting time and money and not doing my part to get better. The question I have for myself is what my goal would be with that and how I hope to improve more with taking in person individual lessons. I’m not really even sure what I need or what I’m looking for.
sprintingyoginiParticipantI just started working on it this weekend. Good times.

sprintingyoginiParticipantSo, we’re sure we don’t want to do When I’m 64 for this challenge? LOL
