sprintingyoginiParticipantAt this minute, with a new baritone sitting right here, I would say some baritone lessons would be nice.
sprintingyoginiParticipantThe unboxing…
sprintingyoginiParticipantCool!
sprintingyoginiParticipantI’m gonna look not this video. Would counterfit strings be fishing line? What even is that? Do counterfit strings work? Fascinating.
sprintingyoginiParticipantAnother argument for real strings: I don’t think strings would be a common counterfeit item. They’re already pretty affordable. If I was gonna sell a fake item, I’d go for diamonds or alligaor skin.
sprintingyoginiParticipantI have some Aquila strings with the colored tips like that if that’s any indication. I’ve also had them in the plastic with the stickers.
sprintingyoginiParticipantNow that I know I can change strings, I don’t want to stop. Aquila Lava here. Looks great. Sounds great.
Also, as mentioned, I ordered replacement strings for the baritone I ordered. I received concert strings. Before I send them back, can people put concert strings on a baritone or did my order get messed up? Pretty sure it’s the second, but want to make sure I’m not missing some ukulele string secret.

sprintingyoginiParticipantAndrew, by duets, do you mean 2 uke parts or will there be a u-bass in the mix?

sprintingyoginiParticipantCongrats Felix. Can’t wait to hear it! Looking forward to January’s challenge.
sprintingyoginiParticipantI just ordered new strings (and two more ukuleles!) also. I got the lavas for my concert, reds for my soprano and GCEA set for the new baritone, which hasn’t yet arrived.
This was my first attempt at replacing a set of strings and I’m pretty happy with it.
How often and why do you replace strings?
sprintingyoginiParticipantI do birthday resolutions, which was earlier this month. I resolved to practice uke for a minimum of an hour per day and piano for 30 minutes. I hope to also have a new uke song memorized each month. I’d like to be playing some level 2 or 3 songs in there. I think I’m almost there already.
sprintingyoginiParticipantI agree with Lisa. I just installed a button on my concert. You can get them for almost nothing on amazon (or they come free with most of the straps).

sprintingyoginiParticipantStopping in to say I’m so excited to see who wins. Good luck everyone! There’s been so many wonderful entries and I have enjoyed seeing everyone’s ukuleles and listen to you play. What a wonderful community! Thanks for all you do Andrew and friends.
sprintingyoginiParticipantLove it. Congrats!
