ParticipantIt’s working for me. I tried using it every which way on both Chrome and Firefox and it was all good.

ParticipantYeah, I do get that. Each time I click on My Favorites it cycles through “Add to Collection” and “Remove FavoriteAdd to Collection”.

ParticipantI installed Chrome but it worked the same as firefox; clicking on “My Favorites” didn’t take me anywhere.
I fooled around with it a little more and found that when I right clicked on “My Favorites” and selected “Open Link in New Tab” it did in fact open the favorites page in a new tab. Likewise when I right clicked and selected “Open link in New Window”, a new window opened to the favorites page. This was true for both Chrome and Firefox. It really seems to want to work but can’t quite get there.
For the sake of thoroughness I changed my mouse to see if that had any effect; it didn’t.

ParticipantUnfortunately, it doesn’t work perfectly for me anymore either. The “Add to Collection” and “My Favorites” both appear to the right as they should. Clicking “Add to Collection” does add my song to the collection but clicking “My Favorites” doesn’t take me anywhere.
Clicking “My Favs” at the top of the page does take me to the collection though. So despite the “My Favorites” glitch it is still fully functional for me. It’s not a big deal but I thought I’d mention it.
I’m using an HP laptop running Windows 7 and am using Firefox. I did clear my cache but that didn’t change things.

ParticipantIt’s working fine for me. I’m using Firefox.

ParticipantIt’s still the same for me.

ParticipantFor me, when I go to a song only “My Favorites” is visible but not “Add to my Collection”.
But if I press My Favorites then back page my browser (Firefox) to get back to the song, Add to my Collection appears. Not only does it appear but it continues to work correctly no matter what tabs or pages I might open or close.
When I close my browser and start a new browser then I’m back to having just My Favorites again.
So if this works similarly for others, it might be a temporary solution. And it might provide a clue about how to fix it for the tech guys.

ParticipantMy uke has a low G string. I like the idea of low G lessons.
Even though your songs are made for high G ukes, I haven’t found it too hard switching them over to a low G. The only times the high G really seems to make a difference is when the high G string is used as part of the melody. So either adding or substituting a similar note on one of the other 3 strings, for me, makes everything sound fine.
Some tips on translating songs back and forth between the two types of ukes would be useful.
I think Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is you” would sound great on the ukulele.

ParticipantAndrew, I recently found and joined Rock Class 101. I love this site. So please take as long as you need to recover. We beginners need you.
I’m not quite ready to make a video of me playing. At this point it would just be a video of me jumping up and down on my uke. But perhaps someday.
I make my living by playing poker online; so repetitive stress is something I sometimes think about. I’ve been thinking about it even more lately since taking up the ukulele a couple of months ago.
Maybe this would be a good time for you to make a video about what you’ve learned about dealing with repetitive stress – how to avoid it, how to deal with it once it happens.
