January 22, 2019 at 8:26 pm #24283edwardParticipant“Here’s My Song For January’s Challenge.” Richland Woman Blues” By Mississippi John Hurt. Taken from the book By Mark Nelson “Juke’n The Uke”. I have played this song every day for a hour or so. I have used a metronome which kind of messed with me. Need to work on that. I bite of more then I could chew with this song. I could you some one one Andrew. Hope the computer picks my name. Everyone has done a great job. Go Rockclass 101. PEACE
January 3, 2019 at 8:08 pm #22049edwardParticipant1. Execution: I hope to not trash this song “Richland Woman Blues Written by Mississippi John Hurt. Arranged by Mark Nelson. I plan to improve my finger picking and using my little or pinky finger to reach for notes . Timing Timing Timing my biggest problem . Might try and work with a metronome .
2) Application – I want to pick the notes clean and clear. On time
3) Evaluation – I’m going to record myself weekly here how I’m doing . Learn from my mistakes.
Here the song on You Tube.so you know what it’s sounds like.
