Hello! Here is my entry for the month! I’ve been practicing during the month and finally had time to record/ put it together, better late than never. I’ve played this so much better other times but this is the best take I could get right now. Anyway thanks so much for this challenge and encouragement to learn something new. Congrats to everyone on reaching their goals
Hi everyone! So here is my progress on how harmonics is going! I’m actually pretty proud of myself . I have only gotten thru excerise 2 of artificial harmonics exercise but I figured out already the notes for amazing grace! This is jsut by ear all harmonics and playing my travel uke so . (Key of F) I grew up playing piano so I actually do know remember something about music. I haven’t looked at the music yet for your version but pretty cool I figured this out . What else is there to do when the power goes out right? It is back on now…Anyway hope you are all having fun with your challenges too! 😀
Hello! My goal for the month is to work on Harmonics.
Execution:
Complete the Harmonics course. I remember I had watched some of this awhile ago but never finished it. I am going to work on completing it and learn Amazing Grace.Execution:
I will practice at least 10-15 minutes each day. I will complete the Harmonics course and also use end of the month to work on playing Amazing Grace.Evaluation:
Record and submit the performance song Amazing Grace by the end of the month. I will also work to add some harmonics to other ukulele songs.This will all be by end of January so that is good that’s it’s before I get super busy with tax season in Feb – April.

Hi everyone long time no see. Been super busy lately as I bought my first home this year but it’s a fixer upper so still a work in process. I know nothing about anime is that an adult cartoon? But fun to learn something new. I’ve been playing this all month but this is the take I could get 😄 I know it can be better . Anyway excited to play some Christmas songs now!

I learned this and memorized this in only about a few days. I told her I needed more practice but she just took out her phone and recorded 😄
Also this is my tenor uke and first time trying a low G. anyway hope you like it and cross your fingers for her!Hi everyone!! You all did a great job. I am course submitting on the last day cutting it close. I am a premium member. I didn’t get to practice as much as I liked so I didn’t do all the strumming patterns in the video. Singing with the one in second verse at the same time as playing was just not working. 😄 So here is my version. I tried guys so I hope it still counts as entry ! Hi everyone! Here is my entry for this month with Aura Lee. I’m a premium member.
I learned this in about a week and I decided to memorize it this weekend. So There might be a few pauses in there. I played it for my sister later and it sounded a lot better but anyway.Thank you for the lessons! I have started teaching a beginner ukulele lesson once a week in my town. They know some basic chords and we are working on that island strum, so it’s been fun. I haven’t shown them any finger style yet but I have thrown your guys name out there a couple times:)
Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great year! I think my goal for this year is to actually be able to play a song all the way through. Tax season has started so I’ll be back in a few months… 😆 but really though here is me pretty much playing each part but in pieces ! At least it was really sunny today

@andrew thank you! ✌🏻 And I actually read these guidelines a long time ago and forgot that you can just write premium member and you get two entries and you don’t actually have to learn two songs 😄 but I wanted to learn both anyway cause it was hard to decide , anyway merry Christmas Eve!!

Here is entry # 1 for this month (premium member). This song was fun to play! I had played it for the first time last year. This isn’t perfect, I know I messed up a few chords and the strumming at times but I kept going cause I only did two takes and could only get everyone out of the room for about 15 minutes 😄 anyway hope you like it! This is normally pretty low for me to sing but hope it sounds ok ✌🏻 Great job everyone
Here is my entry for this month, such a nice song! I’ve practiced this so many times but whenever I record I get so nervous. Don’t mind me staring intently at the music I am so blind, even though I had half of it memorized. Anyway thanks again for the lesson! Great job everyone!

I only had a couple days to learn this , work keeps getting in the way. For the time I had I’d say its all right…I know I need to work on transitions. Great job to all other participants! Maybe one day I’ll start practicing at the beginning of the month
Hey everyone! So I did Rockin around the clock! This was fun and still a little challenging. I’m still practicing so it’s not really that good yet. I have been playing it each a little each day but I feel like I get really tense whenever I turn the camera on! I had to record ina couple parts cause my hands were getting tired. Anyway thanks for the lessons!!!
