    Thanks Stephen for your generous words. Yes Robin and I did talk about a click track for next time. Robin generously tried to slow down because at the start of the month it felt like he was going at break neck speed for my poor fingers and brain.

    I over compensated a few times with the “rubato feel” I must say. It was great fun to give it a good go. Its so different to playing live with another person.

    @stephen thanks for the feedback! I’ll definitely work on it. I think this piece will go into my regular practice since it’s so much fun to play

    Thanks, Stephen! I will continue to work on it! I think my biggest problem was I needed to go a few clicks slower. My voice was shot though so I couldnt make another baritone track so I just tripped and stumbled my way through the solo 😀

    Also thanks @Robinboyd and @lyndallk 🙂 you guys did a great job! What a cool idea to team up for a song! I really enjoyed it !

    For a change I manage to post my entry a little before than usual (last day of the month)
    But since next week is my bday, I doubt I will have too much time to practice or record.

    I had a ton of fun learning this one, I never expected that slides where so challenging still working on those changes but they add a really nice texture to the sound.

    Here is my version of the Beauty and the Beast solo. It was certainly the highest challenge yet for me but one that I am proud to say I took on fully! Excuse the lack of ringing on the super high notes given that my uke is the regular soprano size.
    Thank you Rock Class 101 for a wonderful arrangement!

    @malku2603 – Fantastic, you played it so well! I do have one tip for you. When you get to Melody 2, try to practice that section along to a metronome. Start at a slow tempo and loop the first 2 bars. Your goal is to keep it steady and eliminate any pauses. Keep up the great work!

    @joe150
    – Sounds good, Joe! My goal for you is to memorize it. Then you can focus 100% on playing it instead of playing plus reading.

    @emiliano
    – I agree with you, those are prob some of the most difficult slides I’ve encountered. As always, your playing sounds great! I’d just continue practicing at a slower tempo to clean it up a bit. Happy early bday!

    @ccwuke
    – Here is my feedback for you 🙂

    @marianne
    – Bravo! That was very impressive. Great feel and great note clarity. Well done!

    Thank you so much @Andrew for the feedback I will definitely work on that 😀😀.

    Participating in the monthly challenges has been a really exciting and fun experience, I have greatly improved on my uke playing. Thanks a lot again for such great tutorials and challenges.

    Hi,

    I tried the Beauty and the Beast accompaniment this month. I’m not a singer so I whistled. I dropped the pitch of the Baritone ukulele a couple of notches though to get it closer to a range that might work for other than bats.

    Thanks for the feedback @Andrew. I knew my timing was off in some sections but just couldn’t get it all to fit. Just played through a few times, slower, and with the click track and that’s much better. Think I’ll add the click track to the tab play along more often to improve my timing. Thanks again!

    Thanks a lot @Andrew! I appreciate your feedback and the incredible teaching. I bet it would sound better with a better instrument 🙂

    I think I need another few weeks practice! Sometimes it’s smoother than others – usually when I don’t have a camera in front of me (LOL) – I don’t see how performers do it… but it’s fun playing.
