Participant@lucauka Welcome to the site. That was so good for playing only 1 month and a 1/2. Awesome submission. Bar chords and all. You’re gonna do great with the ukulele. Keep going.

Participant@marianne I like the way your Baritone sounded. Did you play it through your computer or an amp?

ParticipantHere’s my June entry! There are some chords I’m not entirely happy with, so I’ll keep working on them. Thank you for the arrangement; it was really fun to practice!

Axel F. Not much to say about this one, except it was tons of fun to learn and is tons of fun to play.

Keymaster@anyon1 – Your performance was so much fun to watch! I shared it last week across our social media 🙂
@planetfink – I agree with @The_Bumble_Bard, you captured the emotion of the song perfectly! Beautifully played ❤️
@ccwuke – Pacing was perfect, beautifully played with great emotion Chris.
@anikali – Excellent timing and groove with the bass! And I like the delay effect. Well done!
@lucauka – Incredible! I can’t believe you can play THAT well only 6 weeks into playing. You’ve def got music talent! I’d recommend checking out our beginner’s course. There are a couple of lessons that cover the basics of strumming. They will teach you proper technique in your right hand because currently, I see you’re using the index finger in a way that is sticking out and bent, which will slow you down in the future as it makes it more difficult to switch back and forth between fingerpicking and strumming. Also, check out Matt’s lesson here, it offers an alternative way to strum from what’s covered in the course. Either method works!
@jebergeron – Beautifully played, JP! I’d recommend focusing your practice on the chorus. It sounded like there was a little hesitation here and there compared to the verse, so I’d work on improving the flow. Also, don’t forget to tune up before recording 😉
@emiliano – The additional harmony you added was beautiful. Great interpretation, really cool to see you take it and make it your own. Well done! 👏
@annemarie – Beautifully played Anne! Lots of feel and emotion in your playing. The only thing I could recommend is to double check the rhythm in bars 18 and 19 and to memorizing the ending part where you referenced the music. Overall it was lovely, keep up the great work!
@misterbones – The main riff sounds awesome Michael! I hear you rushing a little bit during the second riff in the first two bars. Try looping those bars in the tab player and locking in with Steven. Overall, great job on this duet!
@willw18 – Fantastic performance WilL! You captured the haunting feel perfectly.June 17, 2024 at 9:40 pm #61984gi_gi_

Keymaster@gi_gi_ – That was awesome GiGi! Your feel and tone was great throughout 🙂
@malku2603 – You’ve got it sounding great, Akansha! One thing you can try when practicing is playing along with a metronome. It’ll help keep your timing nice and steady throughout. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the tune!June 18, 2024 at 3:09 pm #62026 -
