mycb3tm3nMemberHello, I’m Myc and I just turned 11 this October. I joined the challenge hoping to win the ukulele. In case you are wondering why my uke is broken, its because on my birthday, my friend accidentally stepped on it. It broke my heart but it did not break my spirit.
I don’t what to throw it away because it’s the first ukulele my parents bought me. I don’t have any replacement yet that’s why I used it for the performance.
Hope you like it. Also, I accidentally submitted it too many times because i thought it wasn’t working,is there a way to delete some of the posts?

MemberThank you very much for your feedback Stephan. Those bars 45-47 were where I struggled most learning it.
I hadn’t thought to try it with a metronome – will give that a go and hopefully clean it up.Thanks Rick, I absolutely love the tune and I think that helped me get into the song.

gstriphMemberActually the ribbons are for one of our older dogs (now gone) who won *a lot* of agility competitions. Note me LOL!

rickeymikeMemberStephan, Thanks for the feedback. You caught me! I haven’t put much time at all into the fingerpicking course. Thus, my mind tells me what string to pluck and my dominant finger takes over. Dirge on (ha)

lisadmhParticipantThanks Stephen. That backing track is really helpful. Oddly I had trouble slowing this one down and the tab viewer somehow didn’t feel right on this one-usually I love it but I think I got Evan’s sound so stuck in my head I couldn’t slow it down.
The backing track sounds great with it and I can more easily find my problem spots. Bar chords and dead notes of course.
Anyway I’m back on track. Thanks!

Hi. This is my first posting. I found the first transition in The Walking Dead Theme to be particularly challenging. I looped and looped and looped…

hondamomParticipantSo great, Myc! I love that you played St. James Infirmary on a broken uke. Get it? “Infirmary” as in a hospital, clinic, sick, room. Very appropriate!! And well done!
