gmflin8MemberMyabe a month of “international” theme with songs from other countries 🙂
For oversea Chinese, the Moon represents my heart is one of the all-time classics. Here is one example
For many Japanese, all the theme songs from animes giant Gibili are wonderful, for example, I really love Spirited Away.

MemberDear Andrew,
greetings from Germany!
I‘m fairly new to your site and I’m happy I’ve found it!
As songs we love and/or are nostalgic for seem to motivate a lot I wanted to try my luck and suggest two songs:Kass theme from Zelda:
And
Littleroot Town from Pokémon

ParticipantI’d also love to see Chan Chan. It’s just such a beautiful classic and works well on the uke.

ParticipantHey,
Recently on Matts live lesson he played a little bit of the Bach BWV1007 Cello prelude. I think he should totally make a tutorial on that one, it sounds fantastic on uke. There are a couple of great interpretations on youtube, here is my favorite one:

MemberAloha Andrew and co
As I’ve written earlier on Instagram I’d like to request a song. By now it has company =).
I just thought about ‘Cinema Paradiso’ and asked myself, if you guys (and girls?) wanted to arrange this song for the low G uke.
This was motivated by the death of Ennio Morricone. The second song is Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy. I believe this could be beautifully arranged for a high G tuning (although I do like arrangements that work for both standard tunings high and low). I’ve found a version about a year ago, but it seems unfinished and too short. I could not hold my motivation up for long with that one.
I’m still quite in love with your Jurassic Park arrangement! I now it by heart now and it’s really a keeper =).
