    Here’s everyone on page 7 that I hadn’t gotten to.

    @lhamilton
    – I remember recording the performance for this song. It was one of those million takes for me, lol. I remember it was past midnight when I finally got it. Ugh, this was def one of those tunes that kicked my butt.

    I agree with you, you are playing way more confidently! As you should be, you are a great player! My only advice for this would be to slow it down and focus on keeping the tempo steady and nailing every transition. There’s a lot going on with this tune, which def makes those 2 things challenging to get smoothly.

    @misterbones
    – Last week, I wrote a comment for Sam and I’d echo that same accomplishment for you. Listening to these 2 takes back-to-back, your musicianship has 10x-d! It really is incredible to hear how much you’ve progressed – AND – that you are playing it as a duet! The jumps in timing and musicality is impressive!

    @jedart
    – BIG improvement in fluidity, Jed! Fantastic work 👏

    @hubertk – This was an excellent first post, Hubert! Here is my feedback for you and here is the lesson I referenced.

    @katazumiri – Great groove, Lena! That was awesome!

    @mark1256 – BIG improvements on tempo, fluidity, dynamic expression, and feel. Way to go Mark! Playing it on a concert was a good call. I love my concerts for that reason. The stretch chords are so much easier on them then tenors.

    @clempek – Great improvement on feel and fluidity, Clem! One suggestion, try playing it at a slower tempo. I think that will help the music breath more.

    @otzepeng
    – WOW! Huge improvement! You’ve got it flowing beautifully and with great note and chord clarity. Fantastic work Markus! I dig the effect too, but I’d dial it down a notch. Less is more 🙂

    @willw18
    – Your fingerpicking attack is much better! It’s soft and sweet and fits the piece perfectly now. Watch out for the last note in bar 10, we’ve got a quarter note there, so you want to hold that a little longer. The other thing I’d suggest is to try playing this tune with a behind the beat feel. You’re very much on the beat now. Playing behind it will help give it a more relaxed feel.

    @shmu88
    – Your musicianship has 10x’d, Sam! The best compliment I can give is what I hear between your take from 4 years ago and now. Back then, it felt like you were just going through the motions of playing the notes, but now, you are performing music with emotion and feel!

    @planetfink – Your fluidity greatly improved, Kathy. Fantastic progress, well done! 👏

    Hi Hubert, if you’re brand new to playing, I’d jump into our Beginner’s Course and try one of the tunes from there, such as this one.

    Here is everyone on page 8.

    @yukalele
    – To me, this piece sounds great played fast or slow. It’s just such a lovely tune and you played it beautifully David! Try adding it to your warm up routine. The more you play it, the more it will help with memorizing.

    @nelsonlin2021
    – That was awesome Nelson! The thing I’m hearing that I would recommend you work on is keeping the tempo steady. I’m hearing phrases that are fast followed by phrases the slow down. So I’d suggest working on one section at a time. Start at a slower tempo than you are playing at now. And play along with a metronome. Gradually work to boost the tempo over time. I think that approach will yield the best results.

    @jody_hendrickson
    – Your rhythm technique is amazing, Jody! Great feel throughout, too. I’d say you aced all of the techniques in this piece. The main thing I’d focus on is bringing the sections where you slowed down up to the speed of the rest of the piece. Once that feels solid, you can start working on increasing the overall tempo. But again, well done, impressive work!

    @maryjanew
    – Congrats to your daughter! You played it beautifully, MJ! I think it’s totally fine to use a floating hand strum technique if that feels more natural for you. What stood out to me was how nicely the piece flowed. Fluidity is super important in this tune, and your performance had it in spades, along with great sustain. For the A string notes that occasionally didn’t ring out, double-check that your left hand isn’t accidentally touching the string when fretting those higher chords around the 9th and 7th frets. Well done this month!

    @xerxes
    – Hi Milo, below is a video with feedback for you. And here is a quick video that I made for another member a few years ago on how to hold the uke. If you’d like to dive further, here is another lesson and one more covering this topic in more detail.

    @leihali
    – Here is my feedback for you 🙂

    @otzepeng
    – You played it wonderfully! Unfortunately, you submitted past our deadline for February, but you can def revisit it for the March challenge 🙂

    Here’s everyone on page 7 that I had not gotten to yet.

    @rgillof
    – It’s sounding SO musical now, BIG improvement! Way to go Rich! Def keep at it and keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working! I’d also suggest taking a lesson with Chris. I’m sure he’d have extra tips for you too 🙂

    @frederic
    – Your playing sounds beautiful and TY so much for the kind words. I agree, I think you’re at the polishing stage, so I would just focus on note/chord clarity in the sections where they aren’t ringing crystal clear. Your strumming and timing sounds great overall!

    @wackywabbit
    – This was an excellent first post, David! Fingerpicking, timing, and your form/technique looks and sounds great! Well done! 👏

    @dbvirago
    – Everything I said above for @wackywabbit’s feedback, I’d say the same to you. The only suggestion I have is to try not to stick your left-hand thumb over the neck as much. Try placing your thumb slightly above the middle of the neck, though for this song, having it stick out a little is okay. This adjustment will help improve your fretting dexterity. Check out this lesson, it talks in more detail about thumb placement as it relates to proper left hand form.

    @bibilele
    – Wow Bianca! You aced it! Amazing playing! 👏

    @johanna2509
    – Beautifully played, Johanna!

    @henri0
    – That was awesome, Rhian! The only thing I would work on is polishing up the ending section, but overall it was an absolute pleasure to listen to. Great playing! 🙂

    @1481632_m
    – That is the correct term and your roll technique sounds great Megan! Very beautifully played overall. And a great job on the tempo! The only thing I’d work on from here, is increasing the tempo. Keep up the great work!

    @Kasia
    – That was very beautifully played Kasia! Well done!

    You are correct. Looks to be a SoundSlice error. We notate in Guitar Pro and upload to SS, but for some reason, SS moved it up an octave, while it shows correct in GP and the printable tab.
