AndrewKeymasterI’d recommend to upload to YouTube. Our upload file size is really limited to only pictures.
AndrewKeymasterCan you post a video playing and showing/holding the entire uke? I’ll be better able to help if I can see what’s happening.
AndrewKeymasterUnfortunately, it looks like I only have images of the tab/notation. You should be able to right click the image and print it.
AndrewKeymasterHi Roxi, what device/browser are you using? The audio clips are working on my end. And looks like I didn’t include a print-off for that one… not sure why. I’ll have to see if I have it still and can upload it.
AndrewKeymasterHi Pascale, check out our guidelines on proper holding technique in these lessons:
Overview from our Beginner’s Course
Proper Left Hand Form – Please watch the video at the bottom of page too.
Give those ideas a shot and let me know how it goes 🙂
AndrewKeymasterWelcome Pascale! Happy to have you on-board 🙂
AndrewKeymasterI’d recommend these 2 from our Beginner level series:
3 finger approach: Aura Lee
4 finger approach: Chopsticks
AndrewKeymasterHi Marni, I used my Kanile’a K-1 concert (koa). You can get one from Mike @ http://ukerepublic.com. Tell him I sent ya!

AndrewKeymasterHi Rickey, if you dig the sound of that change, totally fine with me! And the fingering is fine, whichever fits your playing style best and feels most comfortable.

AndrewKeymasterWonderful playing, Maureen! The only suggestion I have for you was the same as for Lisa. Which was to try to lighten up the picking attack, which should produce a softer, sweeter tone. Give that a shot and let me know if you hear a difference 🙂
AndrewKeymasterLike Koa, Milo is indigenous to Hawaii 🙂 The top is curly redwood. I chose this wood combo as they generate warm, mellow tones – a great contrast from the brightness of my Koa Kanile’a.

AndrewKeymasterThx for vid, kay! So the 2nd and 4th time, you can hear/see you are pulling off with less force; as such, it sound more even. I’d remove the other notes and just practice the 3 note pull-off with a focus on reducing the pull-off force off the last note.
