Hi Phil,
An easier way to count this song would be to convert it to 4/4 – in essence we would be doubling the BPM from 70 to 140. Take a look at this tab/notation. It should be much easier to count/play.

Hey Phil, if you’re having issues on a smartphone or tablet device, you may want to disable the video portion and only play the audio with the tab. You can do this by clicking on the gear icon and choosing the “audio only” version instead. This will allow you to select a playback speed anywhere from 25% to 100%.
Yes, I do. Although, you may not like how I learned to do it, lol! I used to practice in the dark, that way I couldn’t cheat. It really just comes down to: the more you do it, the easier it gets.
For me, I found motivation to master not looking by knowing that one day when I gigged, I could look at and connect with the audience instead of staring at the fretboard.
