Hi Krister! Ok, so the original question was dealing with Canon in D, Melody 6 – Measure 23. In this measure, we have to reach the 4th string to play a fretted note, while not muting string 3 (open). The trick lies with the left hand form. Try and copy the form I laid out in this video. Proper form should allow your middle finger the ability to reach over string 3 and fret only string 4.

Hi Phil,

Try and play without the metronome. That way you can just focus on you. Don’t worry if you mess up, I’m never perfect either! It is nerve wrecking in front of a camera/audience, but the more you do it, the easier it gets! I’m looking forward to watching your performance!
