ParticipantI am a premium member. I was obsessed with learning this song. This is what I have so far, despite the hours and hours and hours of practice! Obviously a work in progress! Thanks for the inspiration Andrew!

ParticipantHello! I am in the same boat as planetfink. I know how to read music, but I haven’t learned how to translate that to the ukulele fretboard. Sooooo, I am working on that now!! This is my entry for February with Ode to Joy:

ParticipantHere it is, certainly not as finished as I was hoping for. My goal this month was to work on back beats and be able to play Fly Me to the Moon. I used Andrews two lessons on slaps and taps, and practiced a minimum of one hr per day. I applied what I learned to the song. Despite hours and hours of practice it still needs a lot of work!!

ParticipantThis is my progress video. I hope to pick up the tempo and make it to the end of the song!

ParticipantHi! I have been playing for about 9 months now and have participated in three challenges. I would say I am an advanced beginner. My goal this month is to work on back beats and be able to play Fly Me to the Moon. I will use Andrews two lessons on slaps and taps, and practice a minimum of one hr per day. I will be applying what I learn to the song FLY ME to the Moon, and I am also going to try to tackle Im Yours. Evaluation will be by recording at the end of each week.
Wish me Luck! -
