    Mika,

So great to see you on Rock Class.
Loved your beautiful little melody, like a music box.
Although I didn’t do it justice.

This is my attempt at Red is the Rose.

Andrew, great lesson with a lot of vital information provided on the side.
    As always, thanks.

And happy spring to our Northern Hemi members.

Hey everybody, hope you’re enjoying this freeform challenge.

For my tune, I picked Yesterday again.
Uh, no. Not Groundhog Day. I picked Yesterday. Again.

Last time I tried this beautiful melody I couldn’t handle it.
Not sure I got it under my fingers this time, but it sure felt better.

I love this melody, and Matt’s gorgeous arrangement.

Also contributing $100 to the Ukulele Kids Club. What they do is vitally worthwhile and proves the magic this little instrument can bring.

Andrew, thank you for promoting the connection to this organization.

    Hey everybody.

Here’s my continuation in Steven’s great Classical course.
I’m really enjoying it so here’s my rendition of the Free Stroke exercise.
    For what it’s worth.

    Hey All,
Happy St. Pat’s. It’s a rite of Spring, so be hopeful.

Steven, I’m working on the Classical Techniques and am waiting to go forward but figured I’d best capture the rest stroke before I went on. Enjoying something I’ve been curious about for years. Classical technique, although I realize this is just the start.

The lesson is brill! My rendition not so.

    Hello,

I worked on the Celtic Etude this month. It was a lot of fun and a great chance to work on a new technique.

Andrew, your mini-lessons are always challenging and intro new techniques that would never occur to me. Love them. This one was a great study with a lovely tune.

Thanks Andrew, for this great site, great feedback and great instructors.
    And great members.
You are all so supportive of each other and deserving of support.

Are nice folks drawn to the ukulele, or does strumming the uke make you nice?
Maybe a little bit of both.

Slight buzz on the B of the A string but couldn’t get it filed prior so please bear with.

    And with my mistakes.

    Still, liked the exercise.
