Thanks for the feedback, Andrew. Timing must be my nemesis. I’m a little frustrated because the past few months I’ve really been working on my timing while practicing…playing along with the online tabs, using a metronome, tapping my feet, but that hasn’t been reflected in my challenges. I will try your suggestion of counting out loud while playing. Eventually something’s got to click.

By the way, I live off those LaCroix wannabes!

Here is my submission for the April challenge. I learned “Stand by Me” which turned out was a bit too difficult for my level to learn. But i thought about what Andrew said about stepping out of the comfort zone and try something new. That’s what I did and I still have a lot to work on it. There are still a lot of string noise, accidantely plugged strings, keeping the volume while doing the hammer-on/pull-offs and black outs while playing. Slowing the whole song down helped a little bit but I’m still not quite happy with it.

I’m back in Switzerland after traveling for 10 months in Canada and the US so i thought a mountain background would be nice for my first submission while i’m in Switzerland 🙂

I’m very curious about the feedback. Thanks a lot for watching.
