Here is my participation with the chord-melody version of Out in the North
I hope one day I can play the performance version, but it will be in a long time

@verity2003 – It worked this time, Cecilia! Your playing sounds great, but I wanted to let you know that the challenge requires submission of the chord melody version; either the easy version taught in the video lesson or the jazzed up version from the performance.

Unfortunately, the “melody only” version will not count towards the giveaway. BUT, it’s not much more work to turn what you have into the chord melody version 🙂

I am a premium member, and I am enjoying listening to everyone else’s performances!!
Thank you Andrew for another great lesson. The biggest take away from this one for me was that “music is up to you, the interpreter”. I attempted to play what I was feeling, adding more rubato than I normally may have. Take it and make it your own-going beyond the sheet music and notes. Thank for the excellent instruction!!

The family band is back for May! The singing and playing was a LOT more out of my comfort zone, but I’m glad I took the challenge. 🙂

Hello there. I joined the site in March to try and improve my playing during lockdown here in the UK and I am really enjoying it. This is my first member challenge and I really love this piece.

I have never uploaded a video before so fingers crossed I’ve done it right!
