    I wanted to upload my first soundcloud link, but it doesn’t work. Can somebody tell me how to do it. I tried to copy and paste the embed code.

    @dreadhead, all you have to do is copy/paste the regular URL link, not the embed code. It’s tricky the first time for many people (including me). It took me a few tries, too. I hope this helps!

    When I’m learning the lesson I always work on my technique, but when I record I seem to forget all that and just let it fly. I have a bad habit of tanking the last note or ending!
    LAST MONTH I FORGOT TO PUT THAT I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER!

    Hi guys, here is feedback on folks who did 2nd takes:

    brenna, cool feel! But my initial feedback was more so to apply the tempo change (rit and accel.) to only the 1 or 2 bars that transition Melody A to B and B back to A. I prefer that this song has a steady tempo, but this is a stylistic choice up to you.

    rickkhan, better, but I’m still hearing a swing feel. You played the first four bars perfectly straight, the entire tune should encompass that feel. Try and play along with the tab player, 4 or 8 bars at a time.

    Hi Everyone,

    Here’s my attempt at La Gitanita. I’m so impressed with everyone’s entries so far this month. It’s fun seeing different interpretations and encouraging to realise I’m not the only one to struggle with some things – like timing and that harmonic in this tune, not to mention fingers turning into sausages the moment you press record. Ha! My rendition isn’t so clean, I was just happy to get through it. Quite a challenge.

    Dear Andrew & Rock Class friends, apologies to Taimane for this horrendous rendition of her beautiful Moon. It does not reflect the hours of practice but is truly my best effort at this time.

    Thank you for continued prayer for my husband soon entering his seventh year of hemodialysis. This past year has been exceedingly difficult for him; enjoying this class has been a life-saver for me. God bless each of you.

    Well done Anne! That piece is so long that it’s really tough to get through. I tried to record it last night, but it fell apart near the end.

    Hi everyone.

    I have loved the challenge of “Moon” and the arrangement. Evan you are really talented. I was away until last Sunday without my low G uke, so have been working on this almost to obsession level (did I say almost?). I’m really pleased with this recording – I’ve got more relaxed recording – still a way to go though. I made a bunch of mistakes but think that I masked them well. There is no way I can play the whole piece without the music (yet). So that’s just how it is.

    The mic doesn’t do the tone of the uke justice but oh well!

    Thanks Andrew for the great challenge. It is really useful reading your feedback to others. I’m looking forward to what December will bring ……
