    I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER.

    We managed to do the full thing. There are a few mistakes, but I suppose that’s to be expected with such a long song.

    Neptune the cat decided she didn’t want to be in this video.

    I’ve loved everyone’s Moon, but the singing made this really special. Great job Robin and Tiffany! What a beautiful song and performance

    Here is my performance for Moon, such as it is. Had no time to refine it this month, but made the deadline. Particularly sorry for that first note and the ending!

    Love this song and look forward to playing it for years to come. More low G lessons please!

    Robin, you & Tiffany “hit one” out of the park! Hope you feel the high fives & slaps on your back from your Rock Class teammates.

    “Coach” Andrew, you must be so proud of all your “team”…challenging songs played well by all! Congrats everyone!

    Tiffany- You should sing for more of Robin’s recordings if you guys tackle any of the voice lessons! I can sing in my head only! I can’t, once anything in there tries to leave my mouth lol! I waver and sing off key- It’s really bad! (Also why Ukulele Anthem is the ONLY song I will sing!!!- If I can remember the 1200 lyrics 😆 because its made to be good even if you cant sing)

    Ricky- Love the hat! And heck, even though you didn’t like the strum part recorded you can always change it up. You would have cringed if you heard me playing around with the rhythm one night, but it was a blast and addictive lol! I forced myself to stop what I was doing for fear of it erasing how the song really went!😁 I was surprised how much I ended up enjoying playing La Gitanita.

    Going to see about posting The Gypsy take 2 tonight and the little bit I have of Moon. Moon won’t be an entry but I’m sticking with that one. Wish I had it down for the challenge but some of the parts are a bit above what I can manage with the time I had.

    Still loving everyone’s work!!

    Wow, Robin & Tiffany, Bravo! Truly fantastic performance. This entire month has been exciting to see your progress, but what’s most impressive is your focus on the details that bring this piece to life. Your final take exudes feel throughout with a thoughtful execution of dynamics to build and resolve. This is what music is about – relaying an emotion.

    Thanks everyone. We really appreciate all the support.

    @kmelton
    – that was awesome!

    @becky7777
    – I know exactly what you mean about the lyrics of ukulele anthem. I won’t touch that one with a ten foot pole! I just get tongue tied, even when I have the lyrics in front of me. At least this one was just aaaahs and oooohs.

    @nggnmmm – What happened to the rest of your duet of Moon with Hotmilktea? I was really looking forward to that…

    @lyndallk
    – I’m glad you liked the separate themes. For me, it was just a matter of keeping myself motivated by tackling bite-sized pieces. I think I would have given up if I had to do it all in one go from the outset.

    Hi guys,

    this is my performance of La Gitanita. Unfortunately, I only got a couple of days to practice this piece, so it’s not the best, and even though it took me a million takes to get it right, there still are some mistakes here and there and it is kind of sloppy, but this is probably the best I can do right now.

    (I included video as well this time, but it’s kind of crap as it was already dark outside, hope you don’t mind the bad quality)

    Memorising the piece wasn’t as difficult as I thought it’d be, in fact, I’m pretty sure I had it memorised before the video tutorial had even ended, but playing it perfectly is, of course, a completely different story.

    Hey guys, Stephen and I will be leaving feedback for everyone shortly. Like last month, we’ll tackle one page at a time. We will post page 8 and above soon 🙂

    —-

    becky7777, wonderful playing! I really dig the melody variation you through in for the A melody. Your timing and note clarity sounds great, what I’d work on is boosting the tempo a bit. Start easy, five or ten BPM from where you’re at. When you feel comfortable with that, go up another 5 or 10. Keep up the great work!
