Participant@jakeypoo, wow, that sounds so good! I didn’t even really notice any mistakes by the overall sound of the song. Rick

brennaParticipantThank you!!
Just at the end the bigger error.. But I am quite satisfied. Only 15 attempts to record it. For st. James Infirmary many times more… 😊😊😊Gianluca

poopsiesParticipantThis is my entry, the harmonic thingy was nearly impossible for me to do, I don’t know if that is because of my ukulele or if I’m just doing it wrong. Also, my hair got caught in the strings at some point during this video, see if you can figure out where that happened 😛
I wish I had a low G ukulele so I could play moon on it. It is such a great piece. I tried with the normal G, and it didn’t work out too well.November 5, 2018 at 5:49 pm #19957
lisadmhParticipantSounds great poopsies. Your faster than I am at this point and nice and clean. The harmonic is tricky. I’m cheating and doing a regular harmonic. My bad.

robinboydParticipantHi guys. Here is theme 3 and part of theme 4 of Moon. Before anyone comments, I KNOW I didn’t hit the harmonic cleanly, but I can do it. I just happened to stuff it up this time. Given that this isn’t the final product it’s not worth re-recording.

Here is my submission for November’s challenge. Working on “Moon” now, but not sure I’ll have it down by the end of the month.
Great job everyone!

MemberThanks mheiden! It’s a Koaloha Opio acacia tenor. I’ve had it for about five months, and absolutely love it. Doesn’t really show in this song because it’s up tempo, but the notes really sustain. Got it at Uke Republic, highly recommend them.

crazihippichicMemberWow! Great job everyone. I’ve been paying special attention to your La Gitanita performances, since that is the song I’m attempting to learn. So I’m watching the lesson video AGAIN, this morning….and got a chuckle when Andrew’s hat magically appears during the instruction for bar 6. LOL
Keep up the great work!

planetfinkParticipantThis is my first post. I just joined a few weeks ago and have been enjoying the challenge. It is a little rough, but I get nervous when the camera is on.

robinboydParticipantAt the beginning of the month, I thought I might be biting off more than I can chew, but it looks like I might actually make it with Moon. Here are themes 4 and 5. I’ve been practicing transitioning between the themes as I go, so once I get theme 6 sorted, it shouldn’t take too much more effort to put it all together.
